The Montana Chefs Association 2008 Chef of the Year Dinner will be on Friday, June 13, 2008 at the Lake Missoula Winery. Each year the Association's Chef of the Year conducts a fund raising dinner showcasing their culinary talents. This year's Chef of the Year is Chef Thomas Campbell, Director of the UM College of Technology Culinary Arts Program. Proceeds from this event benefit the Montana Chefs Association scholarship fund. Here are the details of this year's dinner:
- WHEN: Friday, June 13, 2008 at 6:00 pm
- WHERE: Lake Missoula Cellars
- MENU: The menu and theme will be Southern Spanish cuisine featuring authentic recipes from Jane Mendel's cookbook My Kitchen in Spain. Chef Campbell visited Spain and met Ms. Mendel when she was researching her book.
- MUSIC: Music will be Latin flavored by Salsa Loca, accompanied by the dance styling's of Downtown Dance Collective.
